50 Cent Files for Bankruptcy After He was Ordered to Pay His Ex £3.2 Million
After losing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit, rapper 50 Cent has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The music star, businessman and actor, Fiddy, real name Curtis James Jackson III declared himself bankrupt on Monday, three days after he was ordered to pay Lavonia Leviston £3.2 million.
A jury determined the rapper had intentionally acquired an X-rated video she made with her boyfriend, added himself as a crude commentator and shared it online without her permission to embarrass his rap rival Rick Ross, who fathered a child with the woman.
According to TMZ, Fiddy claims that his assets are valued between $10 million and $50 million but his debts amount are in the same range.
