Liverpool 'set to make £31.2m offer for Napoli's Higuain'

Liverpool are increasingly confident of signing unsettled Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain in January with a £31.2million bid set to go in for his services.
The Reds have been alerted to the availability of Higuain in the last few days with reports in both Italy and Argentina suggesting he is planning on changing clubs in the new year.

And now Spanish news website Fichajes says Liverpool are leading the race for his services, and believe he would be easier to sign than Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.

It’s claimed that a £31.2million bid will go in soon ahead of a move in January, with Brendan Rodgers wanting a deal to be in place before the window re-opens.
