Police in New York are desperately looking for a black woman believed to be in her 20's or 30's for dumping her baby at a subway platform at around 11.50am.
According to DailyMailUK, witness saw the unidentified African-American woman pushing a stroller out of a northbound 1 train at Columbus Circle.
The woman then went back into the train before the doors shut and went away leaving the 7-month old baby behind. The woman was exposed when a Surveillance footage released by the NYPD showed her pushing the baby in a stroller as she was entering the subway.
A 33 year old good Samaritan by-stander stayed by the baby and waited for the child's mother for twenty minutes before contacting the police.
