A man was found dead head down inside a well at Akanyn street, Shibiri Rd, Ilemba in Ojo, Ajangbadi, Lagos. Many residents of the house had fetched water from the well and even made use of the water before someone discovered there was a corpse inside it.
Eventually, he was pulled from the well, and was recognized as a carpenter whose wife left home recently. Some people claimed to have seen him the previous day, very drunk. No one knew how he fell into the well.
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Ojo division and Ajangbadi police were contacted and they came to remove the corpse and took it away for further investigation. See photo after the cut...
