Oscar Pistorius Trial: Found not guilty of murder


The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel popped up again today for the final phase of the trial of South American athlete popularly known as the blade runner.

Court proceedings commenced at 09:30 CAT today with presiding Judge, Thokozile Masipa, launching into what will be the verdict in the long-running saga which began in March this year.

Pistorius is accused of killing his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, and DStv Channel 199 has been dedicated to the trial for over six months since March 2014, keeping viewers informed of all the latest developments with 24-hour coverage of the trial’s progress.


Already, the final phase of the trial today has been put on hold, the third time that would happen with the judge announcing brief sessions of recess having established so far that the crime is not premeditated murder as claimed by the prosecution counsel.
