**This is the best thing Nigerian government has ever done since we gained independence, by acting swiftly to contain the killer Ebola virus. Kudos to our government on this one...But I still think they should have extended the resumption of schools to October 2014.
A statement by the World Health Organisation’s regional office for Africa on Monday said there had been no new confirmed cases in the two countries since the first case was identified in Senegal on August 29 and Nigeria’s last case reported on September 8.
“On the whole, the outbreaks in Senegal and Nigeria are pretty much contained,” the global health body said.
