A Venezuelan man, Eddy Alberio Mancipe Oretga, 41, has been sentenced to three months in prison after he was caught at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay as he tried to smuggle $103,500 out of Jamaica after he swallowed more than 80 plastic packages containing notes eight months ago.
It took him a total of two days to release the money from his anus.
He however didn’t serve any jail term as directed by the court because he already spent 8 months in police custody and was immediately deported from the country.
