Frank Mba bows out as Police Public Relations Officer




Frank Mba has seized to be the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force as he has been redeployed to Lagos State as an Area Commander.

Mba who became the police spokesman in February 2012 will no doubt be remembered as one of the most articulate police spokesmen who worked tirelessly to give the police force a credible stand and a more approachable image.

In a letter of appreciation he sent out this morning, Mr  Mba who was made an Assistant Police Commissioner in June expressed his gratitude to the media and the Nigerian people for contributing to his successful tenure.

He is being replaced by the new Public Relations officer, DCP Emmanuel Ojukwu who until his latest appointment was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Criminal Investigations Department at Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja. Ojukwu was also police PRO from December 2008 to October 2010.
