That News Is 8 Years Old – Femi Kuti Speaks Out on Stories about DNA Tests and His Children

A few days ago Encomium magazine broke a story about afrobeat legend Femi Kuti, stating that the 52-year-old music veteran had recently undergone a DNA testing on some of his children only to find out that two out of his five kids were not his biological kids.

Well the music veteran is finally speaking out about the story making the rounds on blogs and according to Femi Kuti, even though the news story is true it is something that happened about eight years ago and his family has since moved on from it.

Femi Kuti also expressed, via his Twitter account, his displeasure in the fact that some blogs had dragged his younger kids into the story – even going as far as to use their pictures in the wrong context.
