Muhammadu Buhari Wins APC Presidential Primary

Former Head of State Muhammadu Buhari, has won the APC presidential primary.

He will represent the party at the 2015 presidential election.

According to Sahara Reporters, Buhari had about 5,000 votes, while ex vice-president Atiku Abubakar, had 954 votes.

He defeated Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, current Governor of Kano State; Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, and Sam Nda-Isaiah, publisher of Leadership newspapers, to secure the ticket.

Abubakar took to Twitter to congratulate Buhari on the victory. “Congratulations General Buhari. The delegates have spoken. You fully deserve the victory. – AA,” he tweeted.
