The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly ruled out Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola as a running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, because of his religion.
A “highly placed” source in the party reportedly revealed this to
Punch. Because Fashola is a Muslim, he is ineligible for the running mate position, as the party will probably have a Muslim as presidential candidate. APC is said to be determined not to have a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
